The posting policy is here to make you aware of what you can and cannot post and what will happen if you repeatedly defy this policy.
Spamming.
There is often some confusion as to what spamming on a forum entails. Here is this forums view on what spamming entails.
1) Posting a message that is not related to the original post in the thread.
2) Making the exact same point as someone else earlier in the thread.
3) Posting nothing more than 'Lol', 'Haha' or 'I agree' etc.
4) Posting repeatedly directly in a row when 1 or 2 posts could have sufficiently completed the objective. If you need to add, then edit your first post.
Things that dont qualify as spam.
1) Posting directly in a row due to a exceptionally long post that exceeded the character limits per post.
2) Posting directly in a row where the second post was made at later in time where other members had an opportunity to respond but didnt and the post was contributing positively to the thread.
3) Posting directly in a row in a roleplaying thread as where a member has 2 characters in the particular RPG and each post was dedicated to each character.
In particular Spam will not be tolerated in the Roleplaying game threads. You will be cracked down on more severly if you spam in these forums.
Punishments for spamming will be delt on a case to case basis. Most cases will be dealt with by a warning. However if you are a serial spammer we reserve the right to skip all the warnings and move straight to a ban from the forums. If you are on the whole a good poster we will be more lenient.
I'd also like to make you aware of a few other basic posting rules.
If you are going to post, please post at least a decent attempt at English so that everyone will understand you and give your post the respect it deserves.
If in a thread a personal argument develops between you and someone else, please move it to PM's before it develops into something big. We try to keep these forums as friendly as possible, big arguments really ruin the atmosphere enjoyed on these forums
And finally, let the moderators do the moderating. Don't make posts like 'This is spam, moderators close this!'
If you're not a mod, don't act like one!
